Atún a la Mexicana Estilo Swole-sa
Recipe by: José Vaca
A Note from the Kitchen:
Hold the mayo. This tuna is spicy and is requete sabroso. Minimal ingredients, tons of flavor, and a whole lot of protein. Eat it on tostadas, en un sanwich, with crackers, with sabritas, or directly from the bowl while standing in front of the refrigerator. Presentation remains optional.
Serves:
1 - 2 people
Ingredients:
2 5oz cans tuna, your choice, semi drained
Árbol Milpero Swole-sa™, cuanta quieras
3 tbsp finely diced white onion
3 tbsp chopped cilantro
3 tbsp chopped Roma tomato
½ medium avocado, diced
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Add the semi-drained tuna to a medium bowl and break it apart gently with a fork.
Add the white onion, cilantro, Roma tomato, and avocado.
Spoon in as much Árbol Milpero Swole-sa as you like. Start reasonable. Escalate as needed.
Gently fold everything together until evenly combined.
Taste and season with salt and black pepper, if needed.
Serve immediately or chill briefly before eating.
Notes:
I like semi-drained tuna, however you can fully drain if you like. Leaving undrained may make the mixture watery and thats no bueno.
Serving Ideas:
On tostadas
En un sanwich
With crackers
Con Sabritas
In lettuce cups
Over a salad
Straight from the bowl with absolutely no witnesses
For more heat, add more Swole-sa. Convenient how that works.
